Channel Islands airports closed by snow

Jersey Airport will be closed until 10:00 at the earliest today (Sunday), airport officials have said, due to snow and ice. The airport was closed last night because of heavy snowfall. Guernsey and Alderney Airports were also closed by heavy snowfall yesterday.
On the Jersey Airport website a message states passengers should ‘check-in as usual’ and regular operational updates will be available online. Flights were also delayed on Saturday after a lightning strike affected radar equipment.
