British Airways cabin crew have started voting on a peace deal that would end their long-running dispute with the airline. The Unite union will send out almost 10,000 ballot papers to BA cabin crew members with a recommendation they vote ‘yes’ to an agreement reached with BA management, announced on May 12.
The deal will see travel perks returned to 6,700 union members who went on strike last year and third-party arbitration for those employees on disciplinary charges. It also includes a two-year pay deal.
