The British Airways website - www.ba.com - was ranked first amongst 20 UK travel agents and airline websites in the annual Flights Online 2009 report, scoring a high usability index, which reflects the user friendliness of the site.
The findings have been published in the annual Flights Online 2009 report which updates the findings of the Flights Online 2008 report, both published by Webcredible. The report evaluates 20 of the top UK travel agent and airline websites against 20 best practice usability guidelines.
A high usability index indicates that a website is easier for users to navigate and in BA’s case allows its passengers to successfully use the online facilities for flight searches and bookings.
