BMI is bringing back a perk that airlines have slashed on short-haul routes - free in-flight food for economy passengers. They will receive a complimentary hot food wrap on European and Morocco flights, in response to demand from customers.
Hot breakfast wraps will be offered on flights departing before 10:00 and hot wraps on flights departing between 12:00 - 13:30 and from 17:00 onwards. Flexible economy passengers will also receive a slab of victoria sponge, lemon drizzle or carrot cake on UK, Ireland and Hanover flights departing between 10:00 – 12:00 and 13:30 - 17:00.
Joerg Hennemann, BMI’s chief commercial officer said: ‘We will be the only scheduled airline to offer a complimentary hot food service in Economy Class on European flights.’
