BA increase Heathrow – Riyadh flights again
29.07.11
British Airways is to further increase its flights to the Saudi Arabian capital Riyadh from Heathrow. In June the airline announced it would be upping the number of flights from five to six a week, but another surge in demand has encouraged BA to start operating the route daily from the end of October.
BA resumed flights to Riyadh in 2009, four years after suspending the route due to concerns over the security situation in Saudi Arabia. The airline now operates more flights to Riyadh from London than any other carrier. Saudi Arabian Airlines offer weekly flights every Monday, with BMI running three flights a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
