BA / Qantas launch Hong Kong connection codeshare

Passengers flying between Australia and the UK wil soon have the option to fly on a new codeshare service with Qantas and BA to Heathrow via Hong Kong. Qantas will fly between Australia and Hong Kong, where passengers typically de-plane anyway, with BA flying on between Hong Kong and London.
Sales on the linked flights were launched this week, with the codeshared flights set to commence travel from 24 March next year. The joint services are only open tp passengers looking for a transit through Hong Kong and is not for those who wish to spend more than 24 hours in the city.
