150kg drugs haul at Heathrow

Around 150kg of cannabis has been seized by UK Border Agency officers at Heathrow Airport over the weekend. The drugs, with an estimated street value of almost £400,000, were found in a consignment of tropical fruit and vegetables on Sunday (21 February)
The freight had been imported from Jamaica. It was first spotted by an airport freight handler, who called in the UK Border Agency. Investigations into the source of the drugs and its destination are continuing.
