New Hilton hotel to open at Heathrow in August

The new Hilton Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 is set to open at the end of August, with an event capacity for up to 1170 delegates. The 350-room hotel – which will be one mile from Terminal 5 and be set in 13 acres of landscaped gardens – also features a spa and three restaurants.
The hotel’s main meetings and events space has the capacity for up to 1,170 delegates in a theatre style space that can be divided into six rooms. There is breakout space alongside the main conference suite and for smaller meetings there are two executive boardrooms for up to 24, and five syndicate rooms.
General manager Greg Place said: ‘This is a hugely exciting time for us to be opening the Hilton Heathrow Terminal 5. Hilton opened the world’s first airport hotel in 1959 and we look forward to welcoming guests to experience the fantastic facilities this latest addition has to offer.’
