BA hire new marketing chief

British Airways has made a major marketing recruitment, hiring Kerris Bright from AkzoNobel. She has joined the airline as its new head of global marketing and will report directly to Andrew Crawley, British Airways' sales and marketing director
Mr Crawley described Ms Bright's new role as ‘one of the top marketing jobs in the industry’. He said: ‘I am confident her experience will help us transform our business through innovative and creative marketing campaigns worldwide.'
Ms Bright said she had been offered a ‘unique and exciting opportunity’ to further her career. She has worked at companies including Unilever, Quest International, Unipath and ICI Paints since graduating from university in 1991.
