BA and Unite hold ‘positive’ talks

British Airways cabin crew union representatives and the airline’s new chief executive held ‘positive’ talks yesterday. They met to try to resolve their long-running, bitter dispute.
A joint statement issued by Unite general secretary Len McCluskey, BA chief executive Keith Williams and BASSA cabin crew representatives said that they 'had a positive meeting, and further discussions will be held in the near future to speed a resolution of the dispute.'
