Strike vote for Heathrow Express staff

Staff on the Heathrow Express airport train service are being balloted over strike action in a row over the dismissal of a driver and claims of victimisation against a union representative. Members of the RMT started voting yesterday.
The union claims a driver was dismissed for a ‘minor’ error and that one of its reps at the company has been ‘harassed and victimised’. General secretary Bob Crow said: ‘The unfair and disproportionate punishment in both these cases is a total miscarriage of justice.’
