Emirates announce fourth daily A380 flights to Heathrow
16.12.11
Emirates will become Heathrow’s largest Airbus A380 superjumbo operator by some margin next year when it adds a fourth daily service using the giant double-decker aircraft. Following last month’s announcement of a third daily A380 flight from January 24, Emirates will launch a fourth A380 service from March 25 next year. Both services are currently operated using Boeing 777s.
The additional A380 service will mean four of Emirates’ five daily Heathrow flights will be served by the superjumbo – twice as many as any other airline. An Emirates spokesman said: ‘This demonstrates the beauty of the A380 – its ability to increase our service to our passengers in style, and without adding traffic to Heathrow’s busy schedule.'
