BMI launch first UK airline mobile booking site

BMI has launched a mobile website that allows consumers to book and pay for flights using their smart phones. Consumers that visit flybmi.com using a smart phone will be redirected to the mobile site at mobile.flybmi.com.
Features on the mobile site include the ability to search and book flights, a search for the lowest fares by region, ability to manage existing bookings, online check-in, timetable information and flight statuses, frequently asked questions and airport information. BMI Diamond Club members can also access their account and view their miles balance.
BMI was also the first British airline to offer mobile boarding passes to its passengers.
