Indian restaurant opens at Heathrow hotel
14.04.11
Indian restaurant Eriki is opening at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Heathrow Airport. The fine dining Indian restaurant, which offers a ‘homely, pan-Indian menu’, first opened in Swiss Cottage in 2002. The Heathrow hotel restaurant, a 3,155sq ft site in the Crowne Plaza, will be its second venue.
Eriki, which has a bright Rajasthani design, serves a range of regional Indian cuisines. The restaurant’s main entrance will be adjacent to the hotel lobby. The site will contain a central island Johnnie Walker Black label bar, and will also include a private dining room for 35-40 guests screened off with bi-folding doors.
A spokesman for the hotel said: ‘Eriki has a very unique offering which has become a well-respected and much-loved operator in North West London, and it is a great time for them to expand into this market.’ Other food offerings at the 463-bedroom Crowne Plaza are Orwell’s Brasserie and Bar and O’Driscolls Irish Pub.
