WHSmith upgrade Heathrow stores

News and books retailer WHSmith is revamping its stores across Heathrow Airport's terminals in a bid to offer passengers a better level of customer service. The retailer is to introduce a raft of initiatives, including self-service check-outs to provide customers with more payment points and reduce queuing times and ‘Here to Help’ staff to assist shoppers with last-minute travel needs to ensure they find what they want as quickly as possible.
WHSmith will also host a series of events in its Heathrow stores targeted at all the family – from key calendar dates such as Chinese New Year and Thanksgiving, to meet-and-greets with authors. The stores will also be supporting Global International Literacy Day and World Book Day, as well as the upcoming London 2012 Games.
