BA passengers down again

British Airways has reported that its passenger traffic, measured in revenue passenger kilometers, decreased 7% to 8.26 billion in January, compared to 8.87 billion in 2009. The airline's passenger capacity, measured in available seat kilometers, was reduced by 8.3% to 11.13 billion, compared to 12.13 billion in January 2009.
These two items combined say BA's total passenger load factor for January increase by one percentage point to 74.2%. Cargo, measured in cargo ton kilometers increased 6.5% to 346 million.
