Heathrow expects busy Easter; plans family treats
05.04.11
Heathrow is preparing for its busiest month so far this year, with more than 5.5 million passengers expected to pass through the airport’s terminals this Easter. To ensure passengers enjoy their time at the airport, a number of fun activities to entertain children have been organised for this April.
Easter bunnies will hand out over 100,000 free mini Cadbury Creme Eggs to children across all four terminals and Heathrow staff will be giving away free iSpy books and pencils to keep kids busy and entertained before their flight. Children’s cartoon characters Peppa Pig and Humungousaur will also be roving around the terminals to meet and greet children travelling through the airport on the busiest days in April.
Shops across the airport will run special offers over Easter, and children eat free for the whole month of April at selected restaurants including Est Caffe, Dining Street Restaurant & Bar and Huxleys.
