BMI are Heathrow’s most punctual airline

BMI British Midland were the most punctual airline at Heathrow, according to statistics published by the CAA for 2010. Just under 79% of the airline’s 38,000 flights left Heathrow on time last year, an average that includes the bad weather at the beginning and end of 2010.
BMI chief executive officer Wolfgang Prock-Schauer said: ‘The punctuality statistics speak for themselves. We have proven our operational excellence in a challenging year including severe weather conditions and the ash cloud in 2010.'
