Heathrow Airtrack inquiry delayed again

A public inquiry into the Heathrow Airtrack rail plans that would link Heathrow Terminal 5 with the existing rail network to the south and west, including Reading, Guildford and London Waterloo has been postponed for a second time.
The hearing into the £673m high-speed rail link was originally due to take place this month but was held off until the summer. It is now expected to be heard in the autumn after applicants BAA applied to the Department for Transport (DfT) for more time to work on details of the scheme.
