Lufthansa make changes to bmi board
03.07.09
Lufthansa CEO Stefan Lauer has taken over from Sir Michael Bishop as chairman of bmi, following an agreement last month for the German airline to increase its stake in bmi to 80 percent. Jorg Hennemann, Lufthansa's manager hub development and capacity management Frankfurt, has also been appointed to the airline’s board.
They join bmi CEO Nigel Turner and deputy CEO Tim Bye on the board of the airline. The changes mean that bmi's board of directors now has six members: Stefan Lauer, Nigel Turner, Tim Bye, Jorg Hennemann, Dr. Holger Hatty and Benny Zakrisson.
