Sofitel Heathrow is world’s third best airport hotel

The Sofitel Heathrow was named Best Airport Hotel in Europe and the third best in the world last week at the World Airport Awards in Copenhagen. This is the first year airport hotels have been recognised as part of the Skytrax awards.
The top five airport hotels in the world were as follows:
