BA increase some flights, cut others this winter

British Airways has announced further changes to its 2009 / 10 winter schedule from Heathrow and Gatwick, with extra flights to Warsaw and Istanbul set to be launched, but flights cut on a number of other routes.
From October 25, the airline will increase its frequency from Heathrow to Warsaw and Istanbul from two to three flights a day. It will also increase its flights to Rome from five to six a day from Heathrow, but the frequency from Gatwick to the Italian capital will be reduced from two to a single daily service. In addition Brussels flights from Heathrow will go down from seven to six flights a day, Paris Charles de Gaulle from 10 to 9, Nice and Berlin from six to five and Edinburgh from 11 to 10.
