Guernsey Airport closed by suspect bag

Guernsey Airport Guernsey Airport was closed for nearly an hour yesterday, after a suspect package was found onboard a Flybe plane, the BBC reports.
The aircraft, which was parked away from the terminal building, was being loaded when the discovery was made at about 10:30. Passengers were asked to leave the plane while the package was dealt with by police and airport authorities.
A Guernsey Police spokesman said the unmarked baggage was found to be safe and was removed from the area.
