Three new routes for Glasgow Airport next summer

Glasgow Airport will gain two additional long-haul services and one short haul service for its summer schedule next year from holiday airline Thomson. The new routes, which start in May 2011, will serve Cape Verde off the West African coast, and Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. In addition, the Croatian resort of Pula will also be served.
Amanda McMillan, managing director of Glasgow Airport, said: ‘The charter market remains strong for us, as many holidaymakers appear to be returning to the traditional package holiday because of the value for money they provide and the fantastic choice of destinations they offer.’
