Loganair axe Derry – Glasgow route
25.09.08
Loganair has axed its Glasgow Airport to Derry flights - after operating the route for 29 years. The airline blamed rising fuel costs and the ‘economic climate’ for the decision, which will take effect from October 20.
Loganair's acting CEO David Harrison said: ‘This is very disappointing for all concerned but is the result of circumstances out with our control. We apologise to passengers for any inconvenience.’
