Air Transat Holidays is adding an extra 100,000 seats on its flights between the UK and Canada for next summer to replace lost capacity following the collapse of Zoom. The news comes after the operator added 15 extra flights over the last two weeks to repatriate passengers between Manchester, Gatwick and Glasgow Airport and Canada.
For summer 2009 the extra 100,000 seats on top of planned capacity will be added to routes from Glasgow, Gatwick and Manchester. These include Gatwick and Glasgow to Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto; and Manchester to Toronto.
