Zoom Airlines has added more non stop routes to its summer 2009 schedule, announced today. The transatlantic low cost airline has expanded its Gatwick to Fort Lauderdale route, launched this year, with non stops flights now on Saturday. Extra services are also being added over the Easter in April 2009.
Travellers from Gatwick to San Diego, the second new route launched this year from the London airport, will get the option of a third weekly non stop service from June 2009. Non stop services will also operate on Sundays between Gatwick and Ottawa from May 2009 through the summer season.
Zoom has boosted Manchester services with a second weekly non stop weekly flights to Toronto and a second weekly flight to Vancouver. It will also introduce a non stop Thursday flight between Glasgow and Vancouver, complementing the existing Sunday flight which also serves Calgary.
The airline's Chairman, Hugh Boyle, said: ‘We’re delighted to be extending the range of flights available for 2009 and continuing our low-fare transatlantic revolution. The recent Which? consumer survey confirmed that customers preferred Zoom’s service to that of our main competitors and we will continue to work hard to bring fantastic service at fantastic prices to customers in every market that we serve.’
