28.08.11
JD Wetherspoon has opened a new bar and restaurant at Gatwick airport’s newly renovated South Terminal arrivals lounge. The Beehive pub, which opened late last week, is located before security on a new mezzanine level overlooking the arrivals lounge, which both passengers entering the UK and friends and relatives picking up passengers can access.
John Hutson, chief executive JD Wetherspoon, said: ‘We are delighted to be opening The Beehive. We continue to enjoy great success with our pubs at Gatwick Airport and are proud to be associated with a thriving and successful airport.’
JD Wetherspoon now operates two pubs in the North Terminal and two in the South Terminal.
