‘Full Emergency’ at Gatwick
16.09.08
Firefighters were called to Gatwick Airport last night after a plane with faulty brakes had difficulties landing, the Argus reports. Crews from Crawley, Horley and Horsham were called to a ‘full emergency’ to back up BAA crews after the plane's pilot reported that its brakes were overheating.
The plane landed safely but was escorted to a standstill as a precaution. No one is reported to have been injured.
