Monarch add Easter Canaries capacity
09.03.10
Monarch is adding extra flights from the UK to the Canaries over the Easter school holiday period, with extra flights from Gatwick and larger planes for Manchester flights.
The holiday airline will operate additional flights from Gatwick on three Fridays - April 2, 9 and 16. This will bring the total number of flights operated each Friday to five. Larger aircraft will also be used on flights between Manchester and Tenerife on the same dates, increasing the number of seats available by 46%.
Monarch managing director Tim Jeans said: ‘We have seen continued demand for flights to Tenerife this Easter and the introduction of these additional services and bigger planes mean an extra 3,000 seats during this popular travel period.'
