Gatwick recruit two new senior managers

Gatwick Airport has announced that Willie McGillivray and Derek Hendry have joined its executive management team.
Willie McGillivray joined the airport in December as Product Development Director. He is responsible for identifying and developing new products and services that best meet the different customer needs, with his role 'instrumental in helping Gatwick differentiate itself from other airports as it competes to grow and become London’s airport of choice.'
Derek Hendry joined Gatwick in January as Construction Director with has responsibility for delivering its £1.2 billion investment programme. Around £20 million is currently being invested each month to provide the right facilities for passengers and airlines. Following the change of ownership two years ago, Gatwick has invested around £700 million in the airport.
