easyJet announce Gatwick – Salzburg flights

easyJet announced a new route between Gatwick and Salzburg in Austria today. The new route, which commences on 13 December - just in time for the Ski season - will operate three times weekly with fares from £32.99 one way including tax.
The new route brings the total number easyJet operates from Gatwick to 50 this winter. The airline expects over 16,000 passengers to travel on the new service.
David Osborne, easyJet UK General Manager Commercial, said: ‘Salzburg is another exciting destination to add to easyJet's Gatwick network. We expect the route to be popular with passengers seeking both a city break away or a great ski destination for those looking to hit the slopes this winter.'
