XL axe Gatwick – Knock route

XL Airways is to axe its six times-a-week scheduled service between Gatwick and Ireland West Airport Knock effective from next month. The airline will stop its flights from September 2.
A spokesman said that the service is to come to an end because of changing market conditions. CEO Phil Aird-Mash added that to meet their core customer needs, the Group continually needed to review its route network.
