Exeter Airport’s passenger experience at check-in has been voted top by travellers on First Choice holiday flights in a survey undertaken earlier this month. Fifteen and a half thousand passengers using the 22 UK airports were surveyed during the 7 day period. They were asked a series of 80 questions about their experience during the second week of July and Exeter obtained the best marks for check-in.
Airports such as Bristol, Cardiff, Gatwick, Birmingham and Manchester were beaten by joint top performers East Midlands and Exeter Airport. First Choice, who have a based aircraft at Exeter, also asked questions about the general service at the airport and terminal announcements. These were also highly rated with Exeter in joint second and third positions.
Exeter Airport’s Communications Manager, Stephen Ayres said: ‘We are very pleased to be so highly rated by our First Choice passengers. It is our aim to be recognised as the airport of choice in the south west and this survey shows that those using Exeter appreciate the efforts put in by all our staff to give them a great start to their holiday.’
