10 years for East Midlands Airport drug smuggler

A Malaysian woman has been jailed for 10 years after she tried to smuggle a large quantity of cocaine into the UK via East Midlands Airport.
Susanna Binti January, 36, was sentenced after officers from the UK Border Agency found over three kilos of the Class A drug in her luggage on April 30. The estimated street value of the drugs was over £300,000.
