BMI launch East Midlands – Frankfurt flights

BMI Regional have launched a new route to Frankfurt from East Midlands Airport. The route is scheduled to operate 16 times weekly using 49-seat ERJ145 aircraft.
BMI has, however, confirmed that it is looking to sell the regional subsidiary, making the new route’s future uncertain. The route was previously operated in 2002, also by BMI, which is based near East Midlands Airport.
