Durham Tees Valley Airport business park approved

Plans to develop a business park next to Durham Tees Valley Airport that will create 1,300 new jobs on a site of an abandoned, half-built leisure complex where newts, frogs and toads had moved in, have been approved.
Councillors in Darlington have given the go-ahead for the development on land owned by Sven Investments near the airport. A spokesman for the firm said its £26m Skyline Business Park will create jobs in a range of existing, new and developing sectors.
