New Ryanair flight for Durham Tees Valley Airport

A new flight will be launched from Durham Tees Valley Airport to Spain from next year. Ryanair will begin operating the new three times a week flight to Alicante on March 4.
This new route will deliver an additional 40,000 passengers through Durham Tees Valley Airport in the first full year of operation and increases Ryanair's total annual passengers at the hub to 150,000. The budget airline currently operates services to Dublin and Barcelona from the airport.
Hugh Lang, managing director, Durham Tees Valley Airport, said: 'We are delighted to confirm the introduction of this new route. The new route brings more choice for flights to the Costa Blanca region.'
