Ryanair reminds passengers about temporary Pau to Lourdes transfer
21.07.09
Ryanair has reminded passengers that for two weeks (July 27– August 9) all flights to / from Pau will transfer to Lourdes (40km from Pau). The temporary transfer is necessary as Pau Airport undergoes upgrade works to its landing systems that will allow flights to land safely in adverse weather conditions.
Passengers who are booked to travel through Pau Airport during this two week period have been contacted by Ryanair and advised of complementary coach transfers. A spokesman for the budget airline said that the upgrade at Pau 'will benefit all passengers in the long-term as it will minimise weather related cancellations and diversions in future.'
