New restaurant at Bristol Airport
13.07.08
UK food and beverage operator SSP has opened Bristol Airport's first table service restaurant as part of a £7.5 million redevelopment programme at the hub. The restaurant, Dexter's Chargrill and Bar, was developed in partnership with Clapham House Group (Owners of the The Real Greek, The Bombay Bicycle Club, Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Dexters and Tootsies brands).
SSP signed a franchise agreement with Clapham House Group to operate the Tootsies and Dexter’s brands in the UK and Ireland airports market in April 2008. The new restaurant at Bristol Airport has been opened in response to the increased number of passengers and increased time that passengers spend airside, following security changes.
Located airside at the airport, Dexter’s is an American-style family restaurant serving a health-conscious all-day menu with an emphasis on ethically sourced products, including burgers and a Superfood Salad. Dexter’s is a child-friendly restaurant with a tailored Junior menu developed by children’s food and nutritional expert and best-selling author, Annabel Karmel.
