The Cyprus Tourism Organisation (CTO) has announced a new air connection between Larnaca Airport and Birmingham Airport by Monarch Airlines, next spring. According to a CTO announcement, Monarch will begin operating the new connection twice a week, from March 29, on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Currently, Monarch operates flights to Larnaca from Gatwick, Luton and Manchester airports. The CTO said that the new air connection constitutes a significant development to improve Cyprus’ accessibility.
Monarch Managing Director Liz Savage said: ‘We are delighted to be expanding our network to the Eastern Mediterranean with the launch of services to Cyprus from Birmingham. I am sure that the people of the Midlands will warmly welcome the introduction of this service.’
