Flybe launch charity drive

Flybe has launched its annual month-long on-board collections to raise funds for its charity partner Cancer Research UK. Last year, generous passengers raised over £100 000 during the on-board collections that take place across Flybe’s extensive network.
The airline’s Chief Commercial Officer, Mike Rutter, says: ‘Cancer is a disease that touches many of us in some way or another during our lives. The logistics in organising on-board collections on 13,242 flights for a whole month is a huge undertaking, but we hope to beat last year’s impressive figures and raise a record amount for this very worthwhile cause.’
