New buses for Belfast Airport link
15.04.11
Passengers using Translink's Airport Express Service 300 to Belfast International Airport will soon be travelling on new buses, after a £1.2m investment in eight new vehicles, the Belfast Telegraph reports. Funded by the Department for Regional Development, the new 'Solar Rural' buses are being supplied by Scania and manufactured by local Ballymena-based company Wrightbus.
In addition, both Translink's 300 and 600 Belfast City Airport service buses have been revamped with a new exterior.
