bmibaby announce seven new Belfast routes
14.04.11
Budget airline bmibaby has announced seven new routes from Belfast City Airport. Flights to Malaga, Alicante, Palma, Faro and Ibiza will take off from March 2012, and went on sale yesterday. A year-round service to Amsterdam will also operate from October 2011, along with winter flights to Geneva for December 2011.
A spokesman for bmibaby said two new aircraft will be based in Belfast to service the increased number of flights. The news of new routes from Belfast comes as the airline announced it was pulling out of Cardiff and Manchester airports after the summer season (see separate story).
