Drugs bust at Belfast Airport

A Dutch man has appeared in court charged in connection with a seizure of 100 small packages of cocaine at Belfast International Airport earlier this week. The 24-year-old was charged with attempting to smuggle drugs.
Customs officials intercepted the man as he arrived on a flight from Amsterdam on Tuesday. He appeared on Friday before Larne Magistrates Court, where he was remanded in custody. He is due to appear in court again via video link later this month.
