Row over cases lost at Aberdeen Airport
27.12.07
British Airways was blasted by a passenger after lost luggage was found - where it was meant to be - the Aberdeen Evening Express reports.
BA staff told customers who flew into Aberdeen Airport from Gatwick that their luggage had been left behind. But the cases were discovered in the lost-luggage room two days later, despite BA not knowing where they were.
Peter Sall, on behalf of daughter Tamsin Brett, decided to take action after two days. Mr Sall, 62, from Auchnagatt, Ellon, told the newspaper that he asked to look in the lost-luggage room, which was full of suitcases, including his daughter's. BA said their system had not been updated, which caused the problem.
