Plane problem at Aberdeen Airport
26.07.11
A plane developed a steering fault at Aberdeen Airport yesterday as the pilot was preparing to take off, the Evening Express reports. The Eastern Airways Jetstream aircraft had been due to fly to Stavanger.
The aircraft was left sitting for about 40 minutes while the problem was fixed, causing other flights to be delayed. An Aberdeen Airport spokesman told the newspaper: ‘The nose wheel froze as the plane got to the top of the runway to take off. It was there for about 40 minutes, but had a little bit of a knock-on effect.’
