New Aberdeen Airport hotel planned
26.07.11
A new hotel could be built near Aberdeen Airport as part of £200 million plans to create a huge business park on the outskirts of the city, the Press & Journal reports. Miller Developments wants to build the hotel and a number of retail units near the A96 Aberdeen to Inverness road as it revives its Dyce Drive Business Park proposals.
The company first lodged plans for the park in 2004, but delays surrounding the long-awaited Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route (AWPR) have held them up. The 28-mile AWPR, currently expected to cost about £400 million, was due for completion in 2012.
