Aberdeen Airport boss invites unhappy passengers for talks
22.10.07
Passengers with gripes about Aberdeen Airport are being invited for talks with its managing director. Kevin Brown wants to meet customers personally to hear their views on the terminal, with travellers who have made complaints receiving personal invitations to the sessions.
In addition to time with the airport's top man, the unhappy passengers will receive a tour of the airport to see the ongoing work around the building and will have future development plans for the site outlined to them. The events will be held twice a month.
Mr Brown said: 'It's nice to receive compliments - but it's much more helpful to get comments on where we can improve. On a daily basis we speak to our passengers, asking for their honest opinions on how we are doing in terms of security, queue waiting times, cleanliness, car parking and general facilities.'
'From the feedback received, we endeavour to improve services to meet the requirements of those who travel through and rely on Aberdeen Airport. I am keen to expand this to members of the public outside the airport as their views are just as important to me - and fundamental to the airport's aim to meet the needs of the travelling public.'
