The 175-room, £18million hotel, only the second of its kind in the UK - the first, at Luton Airport, will open next year - is specifically aimed at the business market. It will feature free WiFi high-speed internet access in guest rooms and public spaces, remote printing to the hotel's 24-hour business centre as well as a high specification bed, desk and chair. There will also be a meeting room, a gym, and a restaurant / bar.
Detailed planning permission for the airport site is going through the final stages at Aberdeen City Council. Located on Dyce Drive, it will bring 80 to 100 jobs to the city. Naava Ltd is building and will own the hotel, which will be managed by Hilton. The project will involve a total investment of £18million.
